8 months old

8 Months Old?!?!?!?!?!?Owen turns 8 months today. Stats:
28.5 in and 20.4 lbs

He just started to become much more mobile. He is rolling all over. He also scoots himself around on his belly, mainly in circles, but does push backwards as well. He gets his right knee up, but can't bring the left one in at all or get his belly off the floor. I'm sure that's coming soon enough though. We never find him in the same place we left him minutes before.

He is still a pretty happy guy. He sleeps 10-11 hours each night and takes 2 good naps during the day. He is eating everything and loves to self-feed.

He is our perfect little man and we are so blessed to have him in our lives!

Cool Dude

Owen's hair just seems to multiply daily. It is long and there is a lot of it. It is still baby-fine though. After bath last night, Keith turned my baby into one-cool-dude!

Surgery, Sleepy, Slobber

Owen's Papa had surgery yesterday and the kids wanted to do something to cheer him up: O kept trying to eat his paper, Channy just wanted to play with it, and Griff was just tired of the babies not behaving. All in all, its a pretty darn cute picture. It cheered papa up and I've been told that everyone keeps commenting on how cute it is... well duh!!! :) The other night Keith laid O on his belly before bath time. When Keith got back from getting the tub/water ready, this is what he found: Sleepy head!

Finally O cut his 3rd tooth!!! We have been waiting for this. I was expecting it several weeks ago when he was cranky and whiny, but it magically appeared last night and he has been in a wonderful mood!

It's a lot more work to get a good picture. They both move much more and are both much more vocal about their feelings. Owen says "leave me alone", but Channy just kisses him and says "love you, cousin!"

Stretch

We have had a busy month so far...Owen holds his own bottle now and actually prefers to lay on the ground and eat during the day rather than being held.He is still a little stinker and we affectionately call him our "lump". He will sit and play for a very long time, but when it comes to actually trying to move or get around...not so much. He will get his entire body folded in half to get something, but refuses to kick his legs out and try to crawl for anything. Also, if he attempts to grab something but then realizes that it is too far, he just decides that he doesn't want it that badly and just stops.I know this picture is blurry, but I love his face... I'm thinking a future career in modeling. Zoolander anyone?Today Keith and I took the big kids to Lost Island water park. It has become somewhat of a tradition for us. It was a great day...can't wait til next time!
