Owen is 5 months old today. He has been biting and drooling for weeks now and we were hopeful that he would cut a tooth soon. Today I stuck my finger in his mouth and there was a little something sharp poking through. Here is my best attempt to get a picture... I said attempt.It's there, right by my finger.

We traveled to DesMoines this weekend for a wedding. I was a little nervous about having Owen in a hotel room for 2 nights, but he did great! We also got to spend 2 nights with our good friends in adjoining rooms. Above is Owen (5 months) and Brenden (11 months). Yes, they do look like they are the same size. They pretty much are. Brenden is maybe an inch taller and has a few pounds on Owen, but they are very close in size. My big fatty and Ashley's lil' man!

He's sitting up. He sits for 10-20 seconds unsupported. When did that happen? When did he grow up so much? Who is this little man?
And I missed it!!!!! I have been trying the rest of the day to get him to do it again, but no luck. I'm seriously questioning whether I really did leave him on his tummy, but I know that I did. Oh well, maybe he'll show off for me tomorrow.
And finally, Keith walked by the laundry room last night and giggled to himself, "its like he kicked his shoes off when he came in from playing outside." (notice his little shoes sitting on the floor) Having a child in the house has been the best change I could have ever imagined!
