Great to be home
We made it through our first weekend away from Owen. Not only was it our first night away from O ever, but we were gone from Friday to Sunday... 2 full days and 2 full nights! He did great and we enjoyed some much needed adult time. (Keith's cousin got married in Chicago)We were all very happy to see each other! It's days like today that I feel so very lucky to have the job that I do. I planned ahead and didn't schedule myself today so O and I got to have a much needed mommy-Owen day! One of O's newer bath towels. He is too big for his baby hooded towels but this one just makes him seem so small still!
He has discovered that he can get into all the drawers and cupboards in the kitchen. Looks like we have our next weekend project... safety locks!
Have a wonderful week!

Owen has pretty much outgrown his infant carrier by length but is too long for rear-facing in the big boy car seat too so the Pediatrician says "I guess he'll just have to be scrunched for the next several weeks." He doesn't mind. He just looks so big in there!
Have a wonderful week!

Signs
Some of Owen's signs and "words". I forgot "high five" and he couldn't do "slam dunk" because we were not in front of his bball hoop. (maybe next time). He is learning so much so quickly now. It amazes me how fast he picks up on things. He also climbs the stairs now. He so badly wants to just stand up and walk but we aren't there yet. Maybe next month.

Boys
Owen crawled into his hamper today. He was a little skeptical at first, but daddy coaxed him in by throwing a ball in for him to fetch. This was only after Owen unfolded all of his clothes that I folded after I put him in bed last night. I was thinking that maybe Keith would put them away this evening while I was working. Clearly, the boys had much more fun plans.
