15 months

O turned 15 months yesterday... time just keeps flying by. He certainly is not our baby anymore. He is now a toddler with quite the personality. O still loves to clean. He considers himself pretty lucky when I let him have both swiffers at the same time! I've actually started to put the dust cloth onto the swiffer while he plays... he may as well pick up a little dust while playing.Owen also LOVES shoes. ANY SHOES! We have to keep the closet and laundry doors closed otherwise he is constantly bringing shoes out and wanting them on his feet!Again with the shoes. He frequently brings this cross necklace out as well. It is kept in the nightstand and Owen loves to get it out and put it on.Thanks Nana and Papa Becker for this very stylish outfit from Hawaii.Owen has learned how to stick out his tongue on command. I wish I could blame this on his daddy, but unfortunately I did teach him this today. We are working on body parts and he picked this one up very quickly! It is pretty cute though because he isn't completely sure what to do with it and can't seem to get it out of his mouth far enough.

His hair does not have gel in it... that is just grease from fish sticks in the hair at lunch. Yum!

He is talking more and more. He probably says 15-20 words now. He jabbers all the time. He is always learning new tricks. We love every minute we have with him, even the tantrums. He is our little man and we are so lucky to have him.

Bump

O has been quite the stinker lately. He really wanted the Flip camera so he wedged himself between the rocker and couch but then got stuck and a little upset when I decided it was better to get a picture than to help him out. Owen got quite the bump at daycare yesterday. It was very large and golf ball-like last night, but the swelling has gone down today. He is now just left with this "tough guy" bruise.

Circles

Owen has been very silly lately. He has become more comfortable around others and shows off more often as well. One of his new favorite things to do it spin in circles.

In other news... he finally cut a molar through (top right)! How many more to go?

Flasher

Owen has started a new naked trend at our house. He will either show you his belly over and over again or he will come to you and ask you to take his clothes off. He wanted his clothes off today only for him to walk into the laundry room and bring his coat to me. He wanted his coat and hat on and thought that we were going to go "bye bye". Another ritual at our house is to walk around most of the day looking for "dada". Basically that means, walking around and saying "dada" over and over again... today he did it naked with his hat on.Another favorite is to play with the humidifier in his room, even though it is an "no no" in our house. Keith and I turn it on and off with our feet rather than bending over to hit the button... it is pretty darn cute when he tries to balance on one foot to hit the button with his other foot.
Not much other news. He is mimicking so much lately. He has mastered climbing, thanks to daycare. And he has developed quit the tantrum skills. We love him so much and are grateful for every day we have with him!
